History of Kyushu Dental College
| April,1914 | Private Kyushu School of Dentistry was founded in Inaba-cho,Fukuoka. |
| July,1921 | The school was raised to college status. |
| September,1924 | New college building was constructed in Imaizumi-cho,Fukuoka. |
| September,1925 | College sent out its first graduates(number:27). |
| May,1932 | Establishment of Kyushu Dental Society. |
| August,1936 | College was moved to the new building in Manazuru-cho,Kokura. |
| April,1944 | The administration was transferred to Fukuoka Prefecture with the establishment of Medical Course,and the college was renamed Fukuoka Prefectural College of Medicine and Dentistry. |
| April,1947 | With the abolition of the Medical Course,the name of the college was renamed Fukuoka Prefectural College of Dentistry.Fukuoka Prefectural Senior High School under the old system of education was established. |
| April,1949 | College was reorganized as Kyushu Dental College(prescribed number of matriculated students:80). |
| April,1950 | Fukuoka School of Dental Hygiene was established under the direction of the Welfare Ministry. |
| May,1953 | Fukuoka School of Dental Hygiene was renamed Fukuoka Prefectural School of Dental Hygiene. |
| June,1961 | Faculty Building was reconstructed. |
| March,1963 | College Hospital was constructed. |
| April,1964 | Fukuoka Prefectural School of Dental Hygiene was renamed School of Denttal Hygiene, Kyushu Dental College. |
| October,1965 | Center for Laboratory Animals was constructed. |
| April,1966 | Dental Graduate Course was opened. |
| April,1969 | Scanning Electron Microscope(JSM‐2)was installed,first in Japan. |
| March,1970 | First graduate students finished their courses(number:17). |
| January,1975 | Gymnasium was constructed. |
| May,1979 | New College Library was built. |
| March,1980 | General Laboratory Center was opened. |
| July,1982 | New Faculty Building Annex was constructed. |
| September,1987 | Building for Anatomy and Animal Center was constructed. |
| January,1992 | Academic exchange between Ensei Dental College in Korea and our college was inaugurated. |
| June,1994 | Academic exchange between Shanghai School of Railway and Medicine and our college was agreed on. |
| May,1999 | College Hospital was constructed. |
| July,1999 | Academic exchange between Shanghai School of Railway and Medicine and our college was initiated. |
| May,2001 | Shanghai University of Railway was integrated with Tonji University .Academic exchange between Tonji University and our college was newly sealed. |
| October,2004 | Reconstruction of faculty to 3 studies 9 departments and 27 divisions. |
| April,2006 | Establish of Public University Corporation. |
| December,2006 | New Faculty Building and Auditrium was constructed. |
