Established in 1914 as the Private Kyushu School of Dentistry, Kyushu Dental University celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2014. Carrying the 100-year tradition cultivated together with the community, we are now embarking on another 100 years.

    Our small class sizes allow for personalized attention and fully develop your abilities.

    Kyushu Dental University is the only public university among the 29 dental universities and dental faculties nationwide. With a low student-to-faculty ratio, it offers an environment where students can easily receive academic advice and guidance.

    Classes are conducted in a well-equipped environment with state-of-the-art facilities.

    The campus includes the main building, affiliated hospital, anatomy building, and auditorium, providing an environment conducive to lectures and practical training. The main building houses Japan's first digital dental simulator and a learning commons.

    We have concluded academic exchange agreements with 13 universities in Europe, the Americas, and Asia. We actively promote collaborations such as joint research and international exchanges with universities abroad, aiming to cultivate globally-minded individuals.
