Web Accessibility Policy

The Kyushu Dental University website aims to be accessible to everyone, including the elderly and people with disabilities, and strives to ensure and improve accessibility by complying with the Japanese Industrial Standard JIS X 8341-3:2016 "Guidelines for Design Considering the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities - Equipment, Software and Services in Information and Communication - Part 3: Web Content" (hereinafter referred to as "JIS X 8341-3:2016").

1. Scope

The complete set of official websites for Kyushu Dental University (https://www.kyu-dent.ac.jp/)

However, the following web pages are difficult to modify and will therefore be excluded from the scope of this update. We will review and consider them further, and address any operationally feasible issues during future updates and modifications.

  • Content that is not in HTML format, such as PDF files, Word files, and Excel files.
  • Web pages that embed videos
  • Content using the update system

2. Target level of conformance and degree of compliance

Within the scope listed in item 1, it partially conforms to JIS X 8341-3:2016 Web Accessibility Conformance Level AA.

Note: The term "compliance" in this web accessibility policy refers to the "Guidelines for Indicating the Degree of Compliance with JIS X 8341-3:2016 for Web Content" by the Information and Communications Access Council Web Accessibility Infrastructure Committee, dated March 22, 2016.

3. Schedule

  1. March 2026: The exam content will be announced.
  2. From March 2024 onward: Tests will be conducted annually, and this policy will be reviewed as needed.

4. Test Results

To verify compliance with accessibility standards, we will conduct tests based on the content specified in "JIS X 8341-3:2016 Annex JB (Informative) Test Methods," and publish the results on the Kyushu Dental University website.
