Information about the Kyushu Dental University Fund
On April 1, 2015, our university established the Kyushu Dental University Fund.
Statement of Purpose
To achieve our university's educational and research goals—"to cultivate creative medical professionals with flexible judgment and problem-solving abilities to adapt to the new era," "to cultivate medical professionals who contribute to society through dental health care," "to cultivate highly specialized dental professionals and strengthen our function as a hub hospital for advanced medical care," "to promote research that supports dental medicine and develop research in collaboration with local communities," and "to cultivate human resources who can contribute to the international community, promote the acceptance of exchange students, and strengthen cooperation with dental education and research institutions in the Asia-Pacific region"—we will be developing a project to cultivate frontrunners in international oral health activities, and we have established the Kyushu Dental University Fund to support this project.
Business Overview
The "Developing Frontrunners in International Oral Health Activities" project funded by this foundation will specifically undertake the following initiatives:
- Supporting the development of healthcare professionals with a global perspective
Strengthening collaboration with overseas universities and promoting international exchange activities, and supporting the operation of student international exchange activity promotion programs. - Securing scholarships for undergraduate students, graduate students, and international students.
Support for the efficient and effective operation of scholarships at universities. Securing funds for universities to manage scholarships independently. - Strengthening university-led recurrent education
Support for promoting the dissemination of new medical technologies and the retraining of dental professionals.
Donation information
- Unit of donation
Individual donations: 5,000 yen per unit (multiple units are preferred, but we gratefully accept donations of any amount.)
Corporate donations: There is no set amount for each donation. - Transfer method

As our university is a public university corporation, donations to the "Kyushu Dental University Fund" are eligible for tax benefits.- Due to the 2021 tax reform, receipts for donations attached to tax return documents no longer require a seal.

About the Blue Ribbon Medal
Our university was recognized by the Cabinet Office as a public interest organization eligible for the Blue Ribbon Medal on December 23, 2024.
Based on this certification, individuals who donate 5,000,000 yen or more, or organizations who donate 10,000,000 yen or more, to this corporation for the public good will be eligible for an application for the "Navy Blue Ribbon Medal."
After confirming the donor's intentions, our university will submit the application to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. There are various conditions, so if you have any questions, please contact the General Affairs Division, Commendation Section at 093-285-3008.
