Learn about teeth and health in a fun way with animals! ~Kyushu Dental University x Itozu no Mori Park "Always Happy Classroom" First Event~
Kyushu Dental University (Campus: Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, President: Awano Shuji), a public university corporation, is collaborating with Itozu no Mori Park in Kitakyushu City.January 12, 2026 (Monday, Coming of Age Day)We will be holding our first ever hands-on event, "Always Happy Classroom."
With the theme "Eating, chewing, and laughing are so much fun!", this event, run primarily by student ambassadors aspiring to become dentists and dental hygienists, allows both children and adults to learn about oral health in a fun way at the zoo.
What's more, that day is "Itozu Day," a special day where admission is free! It's a great opportunity for the whole family to easily participate.

Learn about the importance of "eating, chewing, and laughing" through original puppet shows and quizzes presented by student ambassadors.
We will be giving away original stickers to all participants! - Let's take a look at the mouths of animals!
Learn about the function of human teeth in a fun way by observing the "shape of teeth" and "eating habits" of animals.
You can even touch elephant tooth specimens, which are full of fascinating details! After the event, be sure to observe how real animals use their teeth in the park.

Kyushu Dental University and Itozu no Mori Park are both deeply rooted in the local community of Kitakyushu City and value contributing to the local area. This event is a new community collaboration initiative initiated by Kyushu Dental University.
Our aim is to create a time filled with smiles where animals, children, and students can come together to think about "the power to live = the power to eat."
