Regarding the commencement of a joint research project between the National Health Insurance Federation and Kyushu Dental University (a signing ceremony was held).

On May 19, 2026, the Fukuoka Prefectural National Health Insurance Association and Kyushu Dental University held a signing ceremony for a business agreement to mark the commencement of a joint research project.
This research aims to improve the quality of dental care and promote the health of local residents by utilizing data from the National Health Insurance Database (KDB) system.
Going forward, we will provide the results of our data analysis to municipalities to promote dental and oral health programs, as well as contribute to the development of academic research and the healthcare field.
In recent years, as the importance of oral care and measures against oral frailty has increased, we believe that this joint research will contribute to the promotion of evidence-based healthcare policies and lead to further improvements in dental healthcare in local communities.
