Kyushu Dental University to hold the "1st Asian Oral Medicine Research Symposium, Kitakyushu Conference" - Researchers from universities across Asia gather in Kitakyushu to promote international collaboration in oral medicine research.

Kyushu Dental University, a public university corporation, will host the "1st Asian Symposium on Oral Health Sciences, Kitakyushu" on June 26th (Fri) and 27th (Sat), 2026.

This symposium aims to promote educational and research exchange in oral medicine research in the Asian region, and to further develop international collaborative research, the training of young researchers, and inter-university cooperation. Researchers, faculty, and graduate students from National Sun Yat-sen Medical University in Taiwan and Rangsit University in Thailand will gather in Kitakyushu City to exchange opinions on the latest trends in oral medicine research.

Kyushu Dental University, as a "comprehensive university of oral medicine," promotes education, research, and clinical practice that contribute to overall health, quality of life, and healthy lifespan, starting with oral health. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, while the convenience of online communication is undeniable, the importance of face-to-face discussions and sharing research environments has also been reaffirmed.

This symposium aims to build a foundation for continuous international collaborative research and personnel exchange through lectures, poster presentations, campus and research facility tours, and networking opportunities.

This symposium is being held with the support of Kitakyushu City and the Kitakyushu Tourism and Convention Association.
