Assistant Professor Anna Yoshimura of the Division of Applied Pharmacology at our university has been selected for the Takeda Science Foundation's 2026 Medical Research Grant (Basic Research).

The research theme that received the grant was "Elucidation of the energy metabolism regulatory mechanism by the ectopic taste receptor Tas1r3, with a view to creating a drug for treating obesity."
