We offer our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the Kumamoto earthquake that occurred on July 28, 2026, and we extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected. We also sincerely pray for the speedy recovery of those who were injured and for the swift restoration and reconstruction of the affected areas.

Our university is currently working to confirm the safety of students and their families who reside or are staying in the areas affected by this earthquake. We are also currently considering how to provide support to affected students and how to assist prospective students. We will announce the specific details on our university website and other channels as soon as they are decided.
