2016年４月22日～24日、Korea、Gunsan,においてThe 57th Congress of The Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons（第57回大韓口腔顎顔面外科学会）が開催されました。

この学会で、本学の顎顔面外科学分野原口和也君（大学院４年）の「Oral cancer screening system by detection of aberrant methylation in hTERT gene」がThe Best Poster Presentation Awardを受賞しました。

表彰式は学会最終日の４月24日に行われました。
